Graduate for Logistics department, Partizanske

 
The VELUX Group in Partizanske, Slovakia, is looking for a Graduate in our logistics department who can drive projects and processes that strengthen our ability to react to growing market demands by acknowledging activities in internal logistics, planning and purchasing. Your main objective will be to understand and optimize processes within the supply chain such as production planning, purchase of direct and indirect material, internal material flow and warehouse management.

Your colleagues
Logistics is a department of 5 employees with a variety of backgrounds from automotive or various production environments. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions with the purpose to plan our production and to provide it with the right amount of raw materials and components at the right time.

Your challenges
The VELUX Group is experiencing a growing demand for our wide range of products. In response, we are intensifying our effort to optimize our processes and to develop our staff so they can fulfill high demands and be able to contribute to our success in highly competitive environment. This effort creates a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to use and develop their theoretical knowledge gained during university studies. To energize this process, we are looking for a Graduate, who is responsible for miscellaneous activities within logistics department.

You will also be responsible for describing, standardizing and optimizing various processes within logistics department.

As a part of our team, you will take responsibility for the quality of all processes enabling optimization of material flow from suppliers to finished goods stock.


Your profile
You are either currently studying and is planning to finish your master’s degree before February 2012 or have a maximum of one year experience in the labor market. You (will) have an academic degree in areas focused on industrial sphere or the like, speak fluent English and are an advanced PC user. You can document a level of grades above average.

You are creative, you have studied the development and implementation of tools and concepts and you are used to work with multiple stakeholders. Theoretical knowledge within the field of material management is an advantage.
